Great progress on the Tekoa Trestle! All of the decking have been installed and most of the railing is in place. It is designed specifically to protect visitors but also have “windows” to enjoy the view from high over the City of Tekoa. The 976.5 foot long trestle is actually about 125 above Hangman Creek far below. The opening of this trestle will remove one more gap in the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail. There is still more construction taking place for a while longer, so the trestle is still CLOSED. For more information about the PTCT visit www.palousetocascadestrail.org.
