All of the eastern WA PTCT requires registration for use.
Registration is FREE, good for a year, and used by some legislators to measure the number of people using the trail.
Please make sure you are counted as a trail user by registering!

PTCT from the Columbia River (at Beverly) to the Idaho border

You can now REGISTER for access to the eastern portion of the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail from Beverly to the Idaho Border. Visit the trail website, click on the

link, fill out each of the required fields and ensure you have completed the information at the bottom of the page in order to receive a copy of your registration via email. Once your registration is submitted, the confirmation page will have all the information you will need as well as links for maps and important trail rules and regulations. You may email with your questions.

Registration is good for one year, so if you may be using the trail more than once but are unsure of the dates, we suggest requesting a one year time period.

Liability insurance is only required for groups larger than 20, or groups doing an activity outside of the norm. The 15 days notice is for requests that take a bit more approvals or notifications, so State Parks has time to process that properly. You can date your registration for up to a year which allows for spontaneous trips on the trail throughout the entire duration of your registration. You can put down the maximum number of people you may have in your group.

Maps and combination codes for the gates, where needed, are sent with the registration.
